I met Woe, Is Me back in early 2010 while they were recording their first full length at chango studios in Orlando, Fl. Over the years I’ve stayed good friends with them and occasionally head up to Atlanta to hang out with Kevin who is hands down the nicest guy in the world and one of my best friends! Back in August I shot press images for them, with their new singer, and mentioned if they were ever looking for someone to tour with them I’d love to go!

On the 23rd of Nov, I headed over to St. Petersburg Fl to hang! I shot their set and hung for a bit then later that night Austin asked me if I would wanna come out with them for the next few weeks, and shoot the rest of the tour. Of course, I said yes!

These two girls(and their mother) left their Thanksgiving family dinner to come and meet us, after someone tweeted we were at Golden Coral for Thanksgiving dinner.

Since the whole tour thing was kind of last minute I headed back to my place after thanksgiving dinner to pack my stuff. I had my friend Brian give me a ride to the show the next day! He’s been my best friend since 9th grade, so shout out to him and the many times he’s saved my ass!
This is Joe, the bus driver. Probably one of the coolest guys out there! The first few nights on tour I was having trouble sleeping/adjusting to the bus needless to say I had some really good late night talks with this guy!
11/26 Orlando, Fl
I woke up after getting 2, maybe 3 hrs of sleep to the most amazing thanks giving dinner aka Mama Misha(misha from broadway’s mother) brought us some amazing food! After load-in got a ride the the photo store where I picked up some 120 film for a Brownie. I have yet to get it developed, but will be sure to share it when i do!

The first three days of tour I honestly didn’t take that many photo’s. I was spending more time getting to know everyone on tour. I find that the more you get to know someone the more comfortable they are with you taking photos of them.
This is Mitch. Woe’s Tour Manager. If I had to choose between getting hit my a speeding car, or get in a fight with Mitch… I’d take the car.
Alan’s a good friend of mine, and a really good looking fella to say the least! I met him a while back through the guys in woe.

Every night pierce the veil had Dylan (their merch guy) walk on stage for there intro. He was the grime reaper, it went along with the music (check out the video below)

This venue was by far the sickest venue of the tour. we had a hot tub, pool table, sauna, and a basketball court! it was pretty epic!

11/30 Towson, Md
After a long night of once again no sleep, we pulled into the venue parking lot at around 7am. I ended up walking to a dunkin doughnuts a few blocks down to get some food and what not. At about 8:00 I finally got to sleep. 15 minutes later I woke up to the feeling that I was being watched. I was correct. There was about 5-7 ‘gangster’ kids(when I say kids I mean 16-18) out side of our bus looking into the window. One was smoking weed, another was drinking a beer. and I cracked the front double doors open and asked ‘can I help you?’ as they all started to walk away one of the kids pulled out his knife and said something along the lines of ‘I’ll cut you cracka faggot’ I proceed to laugh for a few minutes and reflect upon the fact that I do in fact have a high school diploma, than finally got some rest.

12/1 Philadelphia, Pa
I shot almost entirely with film when we were in philly. so these I don’t really have many photo’s to put in here currently!
Andrew had to pee almost every night right before the set! It took me a few days to get a dope photo of it, because most of the bathrooms didn’t have enough room for me to get a shot.
As soon as I took this photo^ security burst out the front door, and started with the event below. I’m unaware of what the kid did to deserve it. but I heard later that he was kicked out for moshing. The part that got me was after if you’re gonna kick someone out of the venue, why do you take them outside and hold choke the hell out of them? the security here was awful. They had two other incidents like this occur later on that evening.
after this about 5 security guards tried to fight me for ‘filming on their property’ aka a public side walk. They threatened to break my camera and a whole load of b.s. until Steven (Miss May I’s Tm) told them all to buzz off and walked me back inside. Worst security ever.
